They say that all things come in pairs, but we celebrated three birthdays. One Saturday at the Markland Restaurant and Pub in Etobicoke for Frank Cosentino, mine tonight at The Keg with just me and D'Arcy and one tomorrow night at The Duke in Toronto for our friend George Pliakes. My camera is working overtime.

Tonight we both had steak. I thought that they forgot to cook D'Arcy's but it turns out that they did it the way he likes it. The waiter took some pictures at our request and there was a special dessert with a candle in it.

I always say age is just a number.
