2021.09.27 Jamming at the Dominion House

Last updated: None

We went out and enjoyed ourselves last night at the Dominion House in Windsor.  The Dominion House, built in 1850, is the oldest continuously run tavern in the Windsor-Detroit Border region and one of the oldest in Ontario.

D'Arcy played his guitar and sang songs like Kokomo  by The Beach Boys, I got Loaded by Tab Benoit, I Saw Her Standing There by the Beatles and La Grange by ZZ Top, Runaway by Del Shannon and more. We had a really good time and of course I had fun taking pictures. Everyone loved his playing and singing and the audience was singing along with him. I was no different I sang also.

We met a lot of nice people there including the host Chris McLean who played drums for D'Arcy.

We had a beer and a ginger ale and a few snacks while we watched other people get up and sing and play. This was a great night of fun and entertainment.

It was time to go so we said our good byes and said we will surly be back for a great time with these lovely people.  We headed home to our campsite in Essex after a great evening of entertainment.

Stay safe everyone.
