2015.06.07 Fun In Tennessee
D'Arcy and I headed out to The Tennessee to join Mike Nagoda and The Spectrum Blues Band. The band played songs from Mike Nagoda's CD "Parliament" on which D'Arcy was the bass player. We got there early and walked though the neighborhood. We met our bagpipe playing friend Curly. Then Mike, Nicole and her father and Jake came and they set up.
The Spectrum Blues Band band consisted of Jake Adams on drums, Peter Johnson on guitar, D'Arcy Cain on Bass and Mike Nagoda on double slide guitar and vocals. Jeff, the club's sound man, did an excellent job.
The Bootlegger boys with Frank's lovely wife Celine came and they discussed with Mike Nagoda the possibility of doing a joint show which would be nice.
The audience just loved Mike and The Spectrum Blues Band. They were asked to return at a later date.
