Multigrain Bran Muffins

1 cup Nabisco 100% Bran Cereal
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins 
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 packed brown sugar
1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
1 egg
1 tbsp. molasses
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. each ground ginger, cinnamon & salt
In large bowl, combine cereal, oats, raisins and milk: let stand 5 min. 
Stir in sugar, margarine, egg and molasses.In large bowl, combine 
flours, baking power, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Stir cereal mixture into 
dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spoon evenly into 12 
large greased or paper-lined muffin cups.  Bake in 400 F (200 C) oven 20 
to 25 min. or until golden brown and firm to touch. Cool in pan 10 min. Turn
out onto rack to cool completely.  Store in airtight container. Makes 12 
large muffins.
