Kiwi Muffins

2 c flour
1 T baking powder
1/2 t salt
2/3 c sugar

1 egg, beaten
1/3 c butter, melted
1/2 c milk

1 T grated lemon rind
1 1/2 c peeled kiwis, chopped
3/4 c walnuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 400 deg F.  Sift together the first 4 ingredients.
Stir in the egg, butter, and milk, just until moistened.  Fold in the
lemon rind, kiwis, and nuts.  Fill paper-lined muffin tins full, and
bake approximately 20 minutes.  Makes 12 muffins.
