2026.01.05 Joan of Arc Banquet

We went to our very first Joan of Arc banquet.  This year D'Arcy is joining the Krewe as a foot soldier in the parade.  It was held at Livaudais Hall.  We had a great meal.  Everything was laid out and we just picked what we wanted.

There were musicians. Lots of people were taking pictures.  We enjoyed watching the various ceremonies that they held such as the blessing of the swords, introducing the royalty including Joan of Arc  and serving the first King Cake of the season.

After we left we drove to Danny's Jam which takes place at "Off The Avenue" where D'Arcy got up and played the bass.

Then after a long day we drove home to our RV.  We tried watching a bit of TV but we were falling asleep so we called it a night.
