2026.01.01 Joan of Arc Party

On Thursday January 1st we went to a party for the Krewe of Joan of Arc parade.  D'Arcy is walking in their parade on January 6.  We met a lot of nice people there like Judy, Melanie, Carol, Doctor "B" and many more.  There was a chorus singing songs from the parade.

We had some nice treats including something that looked suspiciously like King Cake but tradition here is that you aren't supposed to eat King Cake except during Mardi Gras season which actually starts with the Joan of Arc parade.  In fact, one of the stops is to eat the first King Cake of the season.
