2025.12.25 Christmas in NOLA
It was a nice, warm Christmas day. We decided to go into town to see what was going on. We took a tour up Frenchmen then up Bourbon. We were surprised to see that everything was closed. New Orleans is usually active every day. We left our truck at home and took a Lyft because we thought that there would be no parking but it turned out that there were plenty of spots.
Then we headed to Canal and Carondelet to take the St. Charles trolley taking pictures as we went. The St. Charles trolley goes through the business district, the Garden district, past the Audubon Park, Loyola University and then goes along Carrollton .
We thought about having supper but everything was closed. So we stayed on the trolley until the end of the line and then caught a bus and another trolley back to Canal and Bourbon. We ate at Zesty Creole.
