2025.04.29 Back to Canada

We left New Orleans on Apr 27, 2025 heading back to Canada.  We always have a great time here.  With great Mardi Gras parades, great food and great music.  D'Arcy played at "Off The Avenue" and "Cafe Negril" and sat in with friends all over.  I enjoy taking pictures.

We stayed at Tannehille Ironworks Historical State Park then we stayed in Horse Cave KOA. Then we went to Pilot where D'Arcy  fell down on a Diesel spill on the ground and hurt his leg, hip and arm and could not get up.  Two guys had to lift him up because his knee hurt so much.   D'Arcy put out a report in the store.

At one point someone almost hit our truck.  It was a big transport trailer carrying a bunch of cars.  He just came in to our lane as we were passing him.  D'Arcy had to make a panic stop to avoid being hit.  Thank goodness D'Arcy was on the ball.  But we made it to our campground  after some one nearly hurt us.

We pulled into Wildwood at about 10:30 PM on Tuesday, April 29.  The next day Greg and a few people helped us into our site.
