2024.10.11 On the Road Again

Moving into the Northlander did not work for us because we decided we still wanted to travel.  We can't stay in one place. "We move from town to town" and the Northlander does not move so we moved back into our Landmark.  We traded in our Buick Enclave plus money and bought a new truck at Tilbury Chrysler Auto Mall and we picked up our truck on Friday October 11th. The truck is a pearl white 2024 Dodge RAM 3500 Limited.   We are two adventurous people so we will be traveling as before.  As they say "On the Road Again."

We haven't been having any luck finding the perfect RV so we decided to just keep the Landmark even though it is 14 years old and just keep repairing it as needed.  We love the layout and could not find anything out there that we liked as much.

As we picked up the RAM we were passing an RV place and decided to check it out.  We looked at a few on the lot and found that we didn't care for them like most others we have seen.  Then we looked at a 2016 Riverstone, Forest River's flagship unit.  There are things that we would change if we could but it was in great shape, hard to tell that it isn't new, and they are selling us a three year warranty with it so we went ahead and bought it.  We move in on Wednesday while it is on their lot and drive away with it Friday.
