2020.12.24 Santa Visits Indie

Guess what guys? Santa is down here in the Dominican Republic and he visited Indie.

On December 3rd we went grocery shopping at Janet's Super Market and a guy named Patrick asked Santa if he would join him and his family on Christmas Eve.

Mr.and Mrs.Claus arrived by taxi as their sleigh was getting tuned up for the big trip so the reindeers got the night off.

Before handing out presents to Indie and her little friend Jorjuan, Santa pulled out the letter that Indie wrote him and read it again. He apologized for the delay in getting the OMG doll that she asked for. Unfortunately it was delayed in shipping. Not even Santa can fix shipping delays. So Santa gave her a computer tablet and promised that the doll would be delivered later.

Indie and her father Patrick got on the cell phone to all the family in Tennessee and let them all talk to Santa. One little girl was so happy she was jumping up and down.

We must not forget Indie's friend Jorjuan. He got a present too.

We should also thank both Liz and Patrick for putting on a lovely dinner. Our complements to the chef.

The rest of the evening was conversation and taking pictures. Then we agreed that since we are friends now, we should make plans to see each other again. Then we took a taxi home so that Santa could get ready for his big trip.
