2020.11.22 Moving Day

Yesterday started out like any other day. We ate breakfast outside then D'Arcy did his ten laps in the pool.

Then we went for a walk and D'Arcy said let's look around and try to save money. So we went looking and saw cheaper condos and then came back to tell Michelle the manger. She said she would talk to the owner. Later Michelle and Alejandro showed us another condo much bigger then the one we have for less money. They said to think about it.

Came home thought it over went back to Michelle and said yes we will take it.

Today, with the help of the super friendly staff here we moved into the new condo.

Our new Condo is still in El Magnifico in Cabarete. As a matter of fact we have not gone much farther as we look across from our bathroom window from our old condo we see our front door of our new and much bigger condo.

Before we were in condo 1 now we are in condo 12. Instead of having a view of the pool we have an ocean view.

The best thing is we are having a good time.

So we have the best of two worlds we are near the pool and of course the ocean.

People that usually live here in the Dominican Republic do not want to come back because of Covid-19. The hotel, with the owners permission, rent their condos out to people like us. At cheaper prices so that is good for us.
