Landing at Puerto Plata International Airport we walked out of there and did not find the man holding the sign with our name on it. Why? D'Arcy called Rimma and she forgot to call the man that would have picked us up to tell him that we were flying Air Canada Express instead of West Jet. So we took a cab.Passing Sosua our whole trip took 20 to 30 minutes.
Ever since we arrived at El Magnifico in Cabarete the staff has been so nice to us arranging to give us everything that is missing in our condo.
We try to go in the water every day since the pool is just outside our door how convenient is that? It is just like a rain forest very lovely. Enjoying it a lot.
D'Arcy and I rented a car and they delivered the car right to the condo. Off we drove to a music store to get guitar strings and picks for the guitar that Carlos, a worker around this condo, got for him. Just for fun I asked Carlos if his last name was Santana he said no but he wished it was.
Every Sunday at Voy Voy they have open jam from 4 o'clock till 6 30. D'Arcy borrowed a guitar from Lester, the host. Then we took a taxi back so we would be back by 7 o'clock curfew time around here. We took pictures of the beach and the parasailers.
D'Arcy had a little set back he got sick the next day, I got sick to, but not so bad, but we wore our mask and only had Sprite to drink. Michelle at the front desk called a doctor. Dr. José Castillo made a house call. His blood sugar was 6.4, a little high. Will take his blood sugar tomorrow we have his kit here don't worry I am helping him sit up and get up. Dr. Carol. I did not think about the night staff that could of helped also all I could thing about was D'Arcy. D'Arcy said Dr.José Castillo was not a real Dr. because you could read his handwriting.
Medipac from Canada phoned to see how D'Arcy was, in fact all the staff was concerned. He was on IV Drop and he was very weak. He is still in bed but after the IV Drop he said he was getting a little stronger.
D'Arcy said he was never so sick. So far he is weak but getting a little better.
Stay safe all of you.
