2013.11.20 Home Sweet Home

I came home on the Wheel Trans with Daryl as the driver. It was difficult to leave Sunnybrook. D'Arcy had to get a ramp put in before noon and buy a new bed because ours was too low. D'Arcy found a furniture store called Parliament Furniture and went to buy a bed so I could come home.

Then to make matters worse I had Jenny my nurse take me down to the lobby to wait for Wheel Trans that D'Arcy had arranged for me. I waited and no one showed up so I called D'Arcy. When he phoned back the order was put in but they never confirmed it. They dispatched one to pick me up.

I was surprised to see Patricia Mayock and her husband Harold. Pat and Harold helped D'Arcy clean up and prepare the house for my return. We talked about how wonderful to be home after one month and one day. Pat and Harold joined D'Arcy and I for a wonderful Thai dinner.
