2013.06.08 Charlene Turns Forty Nine

On Saturday we left our three cats Romeo, Ebony and Hogan to their own devices and we jumped into our Dodge Ram 1500 and we headed to Sutton to pick up our trailer at Tyssen Trailers. Pat Campea and his staff had put a new roof and fixed others things. Once Pat put back the trailer hitch into the truck and I took a few pictures D'Arcy hooked up the trailer and we left for Totenham.

Our good friend Charlene was celebrating her forty ninth birthday. On the way we climbed hills I took a picture and asked D'Arcy if it reminded him of the hills we climbed all though our trip to the East Coast. D'Arcy found the trip much easier than the east coast trip as the trailer was much lighter.

When we finally got to Charlene's and Bryan's, Bryan and another guest Frank helped guide D'Arcy as he parked the trailer beside the garage. It took a few tries but eventually the committee managed to park it beside the barn. They hooked us up with water and power and we were settled.

I took pictures of the damage the rain storm did to their property. We had a nice supper on the picnic table then off to sit by the fire. We slept the night in the trailer and in the morning we were called to the house for a supurb breakfast. This was a joke that Charlene was coming to our house since we lived so near to them.

When we left on Sunday we left the trailer there until June 21 when we will be picking it up and going to the OCC Unity Ride. Charlene offered to fix and repair our cupboards. Charlene used to work at building trailers.
