Apple Cinnamon Muffins

Ingredients
  1½ c finely chopped apples, peeled and cored
  1 t cinnamon
  2 T brown sugar, packed
  3 T butter, melted

  2 c flour
  1 T bakin' powder
  ½ t salt
  ½ c brown sugar, packed
  ¼ t cloves (ground)
  1 t cinnamon

  1 egg, beaten
  1 c evaporated milk
  ⅓ c butter, melted

  ¼ c brown sugar, packed
  1 t cinnamon
  ¼ t ground cloves

Mix your apples with the cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter.  Cover and steam
over low heat for two minutes.

Heat oven to 400°F.  Sift the next 6 ingredients together.  Stir in the
egg, milk, and butter, just until blended.  Fold in the apple mixture.  Combine
the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl until crumbly.  Fill lined muffin
tins full with your batter.  Sprinkle crumbly topping over and bake
approximately 20 minutes.  Makes 12 muffins.
