Rhubarb & Saskatoon Crisp
4 cups organic rhubarb 1/4 cup seedless raisins 1/4 cup unblanched sliced almonds 1/2 cup pure water 1 cup organic rolled oats 1 cup organic stoneground whole wheat flour 1/4 cup wheat germ 1/4 cup unsalted butter 1 tsp. freshly ground cinnamon 3 Tbsp. raw honey, liquified Place rhubarb and berries in 8" square baking dish or pie plate. Spinkle raisins almonds and water on top. Mix remaining ingredents until crumbly and spinkle over fruit. Bake 350 def F for 25 minutes. Other fruit in season may be used. WE like Saskatoon berries and rhubarb. Each serving may be topped with 1 tbsp. plain yogurt and a berry or two.
