Goodbye to a special friend

Lennon came to live with us on October 9, 2009. He was a handsome grey and white male with green eyes. Lennon was adopted before but when the owners found out that he had leukemia, out he went. He came to live with us where he was welcomed even if he was sick. On July 27, 2010 Lennon lost his battle with leukemia.

We called Lennon our music critic because he would go and listen to D'Arcy play Beatles music but yet when some other music is played he comes in the kitchen to see me. He liked helping D'Arcy play keyboard. Sometimes when D'Arcy was playing his bass he would even come up and help him pluck the strings.

Wherever you are, Lennon, I hope they play the Beatles.

Lennon, you will be missed.
