Although D'Arcy was not in the band at the time, Mike Nagoda phoned us to give us the good news. D'Arcy was the original bass player and wrote the bass lines for many of the songs that they played.
The original players were Mike Nagoda on Double slide guitar and vocals, Peter Johnston on electric guitar, Jeremy Ronson on drums and percussion and D'Arcy Cain on bass guitar. Anthony D'Alessandro played keyboard on the second album. Gram Whitty was the bass player for the winning performance.
The first album was "Parliament", a concept album about post-apocalyptic Canada. The new album, "Outside the Box", is being co-produced by Mike and Grammy and Juno award winning Toronto producer Chris Birkett, whose credits include working with artists such as Buffy Saint Marie and Sinead O'Connor.
Congratulations to Mike Nagoda and the members of the Spectrum Blues Band.
