Peach Bread
Keywords: FCB, Quickbreads 2 cups flour 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves 2 tablespoons softened butter 2 cups sliced peaches, drain and reserve syrup 1/2 cup reserved syrup 2 eggs 1 cup raisins (optional) Combine dry ingredients. Add butter, peaches, syrup and eggs. Beat 2-3 minutes at medium speed. Add raisins if desired. Pour into buttered 5 x 9-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes.
