Oatmeal-Carob Chip Cookies
1 cup oatmeal 1 cup wheat flour, bran removed 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 tablespoon cream of tarter 1 stick (8 tablespoons) soy margarine 1/2 cup soymilk 1/2 brown rice syrup 1/2 cup Carob Chips 1/2 cup raisins Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a cookie sheet. In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. On the stove, melt the margarine, then remove from the heat and add the margarine and brown rice syrup. Add the margarine mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in the Carob chips and raisins. Place by tablespoonfulls onto the baking sheet. Bake until just brown, around 15-20 minutes.
