Blackened Seasoning

Bornstein) My recipe for blackened seasoning goes like this: (to cook ~1 lb of chicken/fish/steak/whatever) Mix 2 Tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp ground cumin, 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper, 1 tsp garlic, 1/2 tsp thyme. Just brush it on the meat and marinate for a while before cooking.
